Dizzy Rascal stuck her head out in the closing stages to land the spoils in the three-mile maiden hurdle at Thurles.
Adrian Heskin produced his mount to join 4/5 favourite Shrapnel going to the final flight after that rival had been prominent throughout.
Michael Hourigan 's charge grabbed a narrow lead on the run-in and kept on gamely to maintain that head advantage to the line.
The winner had landed a point-to-point in February before finishing a moderate third in a Downpatrick hurdle and a well-beaten sixth over fences at Down Royal.
"She's been frustrating all her life but was always going to win a race provided you stuck with her," said Hourigan.
"She got a bit tight to the last but Adrian said that helped her. She'll be put in foal, to either Getaway or Ask, but will run for a while."
It was a double on the card for the in-form handler following the earlier victory of Awkward Moment
