The John O'Connor-owned and bred, and Patrick Prendergast-trained Go Kart justified even money favouritism in good style under Robbie Downey in the opening Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Race (Plus 10 Race).
An 87-rated daughter of Intense Focus, the juvenile was always to the fore, she led under two furlongs out, and after being ridden over a furlong out the 'jolly' kept on well inside the final furlong to defeat Spirit Glance by a length and a quarter.
"She did it very well. Patrick told me not to complicate things as she was the best filly in the race," said Downey.
"Everything went to plan and she won with a bit in hand. She's one to look forward to next year."
K.J. Leonard, rider of Color Model trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled.
