Francis jumps to it for Moore and Flood
Arthur Moore saddled the first and third in the Seamus Mulvaney Handicap Chase as Francis Du Mesnil scored under Paddy Flood.
A fine leap at the last made the difference as the seven-year-old headed Alabama Banjo on the run-in for a three quarter length triumph, with the Moore-trained Pin d'Estruval another three lengths further back in third.
“He's been running well and we decided to bring him back to two miles which has suited him well. He seems to have got his jumping act together, while the third (Pin d'Estruval) has been waiting for better ground,” said Moore.
