The Andy Slattery trained Ucanchoose recorded a fourth career success, and a third under jockey Declan McDonogh, when winning the KC Civils Supporting Naas Hurling Handicap at Naas this evening.
McDonogh raced the son of Choisir prominently, moving to the front at halfway before staying on well for a three and a quarter lengths success over 7/4 favourite Stones Peak
Slattery wasn't present but McDonogh did mention “I trotted him up behind the gates as he stiffens up – he is getting on! It could be the key to him.”
