The feature event went for export on the final day of the Galway festival as Baraweez claimed the €100,000 Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Ahonoora' Handicap for English trainer Brian Ellison.
The North Yorkshire handler fired two shots at the valuable prize and his pair were sent off the 4/1 joint favourites.
It was the eventual winner's stable-mate Pacific Heights who made the running in the seven-furlong contest.
Baraweez was produced with a strong surge, by Colm O'Donoghue, to claim the front-runner inside the final furlong and kept on strongly in the closing stages to post a half-length victory.
Another English raider, Jack's Revenge came through to take the runner-up spot while Pacific Heights plugged on to finish third, completing a clean sweep for the visitors.
Baraweez was returning for the second time this week having been a fine third in the prestigious Topaz Mile on the Tuesday, when he had Jack's Revenge just behind in fifth.
“It was always the plan to run in the two races as along as he acted on the track. We had him out the other day and he dropped the lad – he was bucking and kicking so we knew he was well,” said Ellison.
“We've had a great week here and have been looked after very well. It's a great place and hopefully we'll have runners here again.”
O'Donoghue added: “I got there too soon but I had to commit and I knew he was going to stay.”
