The John McConnell trained Dul Ar An Ol under Pat Kennedy, followed up his easy Clonmel win on Thursday with another in the Event Hire At Naas Racecourse Handicap Hurdle at Naas today.

Afterwards McConnell stated “I only ran him because he was due to go up 9lbs following his Clonmel win and he got in here with a 6lbs penalty, so I really had to run him.”

“He’ll have a long break now and may get into the MCR Hurdle at Leopardstown in January - we might chance our arm in it anyway. I was a little worried about him today as he almost too calm compared to what he is usually like!”
