Formerly with Johnny Berry and Jonjo O'Neill, Chosen Dream has proven a tremendous servant for owner Peggy Hagan, and trainer Graham McKeever, and he added to his multiple 'points' successes today by taking the At The Races Maiden Hunters Chase in the hands of Mark O'Hare at Downpatrick.
Getting McKeever off the mark on the racecourse proper on his first attempt, the victorious Well Chosen gelding proved best of the quartet that still held chances at the latter end of this extended two mile five furlong event.
In the end he defeated Quiet Account Strangford Lough and Maple Mons by a neck, half a length and four and a quarter lengths.
McKeever commented in the aftermath: "He'll go to Punchestown for a hunter chase."
