Dragon Khan is well clear at Limerick

On outing number twenty two on the Flat Dragon Khan (15/8 favourite) added to his sole hurdles success when running away with the Coral.ie Paying 5 Places Online At The Aintree Grand National Handicap at Limerick.
Killian Leonard made all in the J P McManus colours on the Christy Roche-trained Dragon Khan. He was gone beyond recall from over a quarter of a mile out.
In the end Dragon Khan had eighteen lengths in hand over the well-backed second favourite Daredevil Day My Painter finished third at Leopardstown yesterday and she ended up in fourth place in this.
"I didn't realise how far in front I was but he did idle inside the final furlong," reported the winning rider.
Leonard, 17 from Kanturk, Co Cork, added "that's my fifth winner and I'm based with trainer Susan Finn."
