Chew It Over wins opener at Sligo
The opening race this afternoon at Sligo, the Strandhill Maiden Hurdle went to the Lesley Young trained Chew It Over under Ruby Walsh for owners the Original Syndicate.
Walsh was always prominent on the Indian Ridge gelding and having hit the front after the second last flight they kept on for a one length win over Sunwake
Aidan Brennan who was representing the winning syndicate works in the IT Department in HRI and said:
“This is our third horse and we’re absolutely delighted he won. Most of the syndicate are from Clane and I’m from Portarlington.”
