Big week for Enright
Philip Enright completed a memorable week with his seventh winner (from 28 rides) on the John Joe Walsh trained Big Jemmy in the Tom Carroll Memorial Handicap Chase at Tramore today, completing a double on the day for the Co Cork jockey.
Enright, earlier successful on Beckwith Star was again seen to good effect on the bottom weight which stayed on well from two out to pull clear of Son Of Moyne on the run-in.
Afterwards Walsh said “Big Jemmy stays and jumps well but hates that ground. We’ll wait and see what to do with him when the ground gets better. I thought we weren’t going to get any winner at Tramore, we had two seconds earlier, but it’s good to get a winner here.”
