- Another Andrew Lynch winner at Fairyhouse!
Another Andrew Lynch winner at Fairyhouse!
Bottom weight Lapse Of Reason sprang a 20/1 surprise to win the €5 Admission Handicap Hurdle (div 2) at Fairyhouse today, winning for trainer Andrew Lynch and jockey Robbie Colgan.
Andrew Lynchs did well at the fixture with Lapse Of Reason’s Dunsany, Co Meath based trainer following on from jockey Andrew Lynch’s (unrelated) earlier double.
Following Lapse Of Reason’s win, trainer Lynch stated “we were finding it hard for a long time with this fella - we ran him in a few chases but he didn’t jump well.
“He as well handicapped over hurldes so we decided to give this a shot. His owners (Chris Jones Jnr) are lovely people to train for and I’m delighted to train a winner for them. Lapse Of Reason is in again at Navan on Saturday and might run.”
