Andratx continues on his roll

Andratx is on a real roll and he made it four wins in a row after getting into the Guinness Harp Handicap at Galway as a reserve. Conor Hoban rode the Manduro gelding and he prevailed by three and a quarter lengths in the mile and a half event. Camlann was all the rage for this penultimate event going off the 2/1 market-leader.
Favourite backers would have held out some hope when Pat Smullen got the 'Shark' Hanlon's charge to the front turning in.
However the victor, a diminutive chestnut, was soon on the scene travelling smoothly.
The Mark McNiff-handled Andratx raced on inside the last for a convincing win.
"He's after winning three over hurdles and Mark is a great man to ride for as he fills you with confidence," said Hoban.
"All the horse did there was stay going — it's soft to heavy ground for us — the jumps lads probably love it.
"The going was an unknown but he's after doing it there now and hopefully there's another day or two in him."
