Accordingtojodie a horse with a future
Those who backed Accordingtojodie from 7/2 this morning into 4/5 were proved correct in style as the newcomer took the concluding Jamie Kyne Memorial Flat Race at Galway by a convincing four lengths.
Patrick Mullins oozed confidence throughout on the Accordion gelding and when asked to go about his business inside the final furlong Accordingtojodie beat off the front-running Star Neuville with a yawning seventeen length gap back to the third-placed Never Before
Winning trainer Tom Mullins said: "He came to me in February and has always shown quite a bit. He is a bit of a baby and we'll see how he comes out of this before making any plans. Softer ground shouldn't be a problem to him."
