Argocat justified some good morning price support when opening his jumping account in the www.thurlesraces.ie Maiden Hurdle, and could now be heading for the Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. Thu 19th Jan

He's a lovely horse and the Land Rover Bumper was the aim last season when he was ridden by part-owner Paul McMahon. However a few things happened and it didn't go quite according to plan. He's turned inside out since he went hurdling, and he's a chaser in the making. We are not going to kill him over hurdles this season, and he'll come back in September for a beginners chase at Listowel.
