Successful owner/trainer/breeder Eddie Lynam sang the praises of Sorcha Woods after the 7lb claimer delivered 4/1 favourite Linus Larabee from the back of the field to land the second split of the seven-furlong handicap.
Victorious by a short-head here a fortnight ago, Woods came even later this time and produced the quirky five-year-old to lead in the final strides. A head was the winning margin on this occasion with Scarlet Dancer in second and Jazzy Dancer a further three parts of a length back in third.
All four wins for the Slade Power gelding have come over course and distance.
Lynam said:- “She's getting a great tune out of him. She's got the key to him, she's riding him cold.
“She's selling lengths when they are expensive and buying them when they're cheap basically. She's picking them up when the race is falling apart and it suits him.
“I'm delighted for her. She comes in three mornings a week and whether she's getting rides or not she never moans.
“When she gets a chance on the likes of this and Tide Of Time she's taken it. I'm delighted for her and I hope she can pick up a few rides somewhere else as well.”
