William Du Berlais followed-up on his win at Killarney on Tuesday, as he comfortably took the opener at Tipperary this afternoon, the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap Chase.

Darragh O'Keeffe recorded his first career success aboard the seven-year-old on Tuesday, and he was again in the saddle today.

Sent off the 15/8 favourite, the Enda Bolger trained bay jumped to the front four out, and went a few lengths clear before the second last, keeping on well from there to score easily by five lengths in the colours of race sponsor JP McManus. Justmemyselfandi (14s in early shows, returned 5/1) finished second under Cathal Landers for Liz Doyle, while Rolling Revenge (11/2 from 22/1 in early shows) was fourteen lengths back in third. Glenwood For Ever pulled up quickly from four out, while Archie Meade who was beaten in third at the time, unseated at the last.

Bolger said afterwards: "When you run them twice in the week you're only gambling but we said we'd strike as the iron was hot and I don't actually know where I'm going to go with him now.

"Life is going to get harder now and he wants top of the ground but it's nice to get two wins back to back. He's a lovely little horse, is a great jumper and is an ideal horse for the lads to ride as he's a safe fellow.

"As long as the weather stays dry we'll keep going."
