Noel Meade struck with his only runner on the night at Dundalk when Sheisdiesel (11/1) came out on top in the concluding SyncIT Handicap.
The Tu Va handler had a treble at Punchestown on Wednesday and he maintained the momentum here through the Declan McDonogh ridden Sheisdiesel.
Bidding to give Anthony McCann a double, Alhajjaj ran well, but he eventually had to yield to Sheisdiesel by a length and a quarter. Miss Snossyboots was favourite on her return from a 428 day absence. She ended up a neck off the front pair in third.
“She handles the track. I suppose I'll have to kick myself now as the first time I ran her over a mile-and-a-quarter was the last time. I was lucky she wasn't claimed as I had her in cheap enough,” said Meade.
“It looks like that trip suits her a lot better than the mile, or seven, she has been running over.
“She handles the fast ground and she's a grand little thing, we don't have to do too much with her. Hopefully she'll be back here again.
“I wouldn't be surprised if she even goes further. She's bred sharp and short but she looks like she gets the trip well.
“I often find that with us National Hunt trainers the horses seem to stay a little bit further and it's probably the way we train them different than the Flat lads.
“She got the trip well and got a good ride.”
