Jaamid justifies Fairyhouse favouritism
Butlers Cabin's half brother Jaamid justified 9/10 favouritism when running out the unextended seven lengths winner of the Broad Meadow Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse today.
Ridden by Paul Carberry, the gelded son of Desert Prince tracked the leaders before eventually moving through to lead at the fourth last fence, before staying on well for an eased down seven lengths win.
Winning trainer Noel Meade later stated "Jaamid will go to Punchestown and then have a break - we may then train him for the Galway Plate."
