The 5/4 favourite Gunzburg landed the opening ELECC Maiden for Paddy Twomey, Bill Lee and owners Alymer Stud.
Fourth on debut in a Curragh maiden won by Albany Stakes runner-up Matrika, the daughter of Sioux Nation had clearly sharpened up for that experience and raced close up throughout before hitting the front once rounding the elbow.
She kept on well from there to account for G'day Mate by three parts of a length.
Paddy Twomey said: "She was ready to run first time out over six and all of mine come forward, and I was delighted with the progress today.
"That (Group 2 Airlie Stud Stakes over six furlongs at the Curragh) will come a bit soon for her, but I think she is stakes class, and we will hopefully look for a stakes race for her in the coming weeks.
"She likes nice ground and she skips along."
On stable star Rosscarbery, he added: "I was very happy with her return in the Munster Oaks and it was great to win it for the second year in a row. She might run in the Pretty Polly next Saturday."
