at last! - that's the first time he has got good ground since I have him and he was entitled to win on his Flat form. He likes to be 'up there' in his races and jumps and stays well. Even if he gets a bit of a hike for winning this, he still looks well handicapped . he ran today from a mark of 106. If the ground dries up, he may go to Killarney and a handicap hurdle at Galway is also a possibility.

That was a great ride from the front by Johnny Murtagh. He's a grand horse that done well over the winter. He'll go jumping eventually. The next step for him is the premier handicap over a mile and a half at the Curragh on Guineas weekend. He is a straight-forward genuine horse. He wouldn't want winter ground but he can handle a bit of dig.

He's a lovely big horse, he's just taken his time. He's still a bit green, he has loads of scope and he loved that ground and came home well. We'll take our time with him and see how he progresses.
