that's brilliant, the horses are running well. I thought after the last this horse could have got out-battled but in fairness to him he stuck his head out and battled. We probably won't jump a fence with him this year because he lost his confidence that day in Punchestown. We'll just tip away and see where we go.

he's a nice horse and he had a good run on the Flat at Roscommon a few weeks ago. Jack was happy with him and said he jumped well. I liked the way he put his head out and galloped from the last to the line. He had horses in behind rated 90 and 83 on the Flat. He could be a horse that could run well on the Flat as well. Jack said he would get a bit further as well, If you had asked me that last year I would have questioned it but he'll definitely get further. He probably doesn't want real winter ground but we'll keep him going and see where we go now.

I liked him going to Roscommon and it was unfortunate what happened there (badly hampered in-running). He did that very impressively and could go jumping later in the season. It's great for John (Doyle) and Caren (Walsh) who are great supporters of the yard.
