He's entered at Cheltenham next weekend but I'd say we might have to take a pull now. He's after winning three Graded races now and has turned inside out. He loves it over fences. He'll get a break now until the spring and we'll look at the festivals at the back-end. If you look back to Galway he can still be tricky enough but when he gets there and things work out he's good. He'd have to improve again (to make up into a Grade 1 horse) as he's beating summer horses. We could look at Aintree and Punchestown with him. The Grand Annual is also an option.

I was humming and hawing this morning on whether to run him or not but that was great and he likes being ridden like that. It was a nice race to win and he'll run in the Galway Hurdle next.

He seems to enjoy jumping fences. We'll keep him for something at Galway, over fences, and he definitely get an entry in the Galway Hurdle as well. He was popping away and not doing anything too exciting but over the last three he was good when he wanted him. Riding him a bit more positively could be the key to him.

It was a good old performance. We changed the tactics on him today and he jumped very well. Originally the plan was to come here and then have a bit of a break before the Galway Hurdle but on that performance we'll keep going chasing during the summer.

This horse has so much ability. He has so much speed I think he could win over a mile on the flat and the flatter track here probably suits him. He got left a bit at the start at Galway and I didn't intend for him to be that far back. He will keep going while the ground is good and Johnny gave him a great ride.

It was a bit of a messy race the last day and they didn't go much of a gallop. He's a half brother to Johns Spirit [won the Grade 3 Paddy Power Gold Cup Chase in Cheltenham last month for Jonjo O'Neill] and he's a bit like him in that he doesn't like being in front too long. Even at home he can be a bit of a character if in front too long. I'm not sure where he'll go next, but we'll probably have to step him up to graded class now.

It was a messy type of a race and he's the type of horse who shouldn't be in front too long, but it wasn't Davy's fault as it was a slow gallop. He has to come late but he learned something. He's a funny horse at home. He's gawky and always looking at things when in front. He would have needed the run today. We'll keep it low-key for now and find a winners of one somewhere.

I was very worried about the ground. I told Nina that he had loads of pace and when he got to the front he idled a bit but he's a nice horse. (TW & EM)
