He has been a little bit disappointing up to now. I'd say the ground was a bit loose today and not too deep which probably helped him. He put in a lovely round of jumping today.

That was nice. I was hoping he would run well. He likes that good ground. I don't know where he will go next but if the ground is hard he won't go anywhere.

I don't know what to make of that but he's going in the right direction all the time,. He was very lucky not to get carried out at the second. We'll have to wait for another day to see how good he is. We'll wait and see how he comes out of this. He's a lovely horse. We wouldn't have liked to be front for the whole race. Davy Russell had set out to make a good gallop but his horse didn't agree with him at the second and he was looking for a lead afterwards. There was nothing they could have done. He overjumped the last a bit and landed flat-footed but quickened up well after.

That was a nice start, it probably wasn't the greatest race but he jumped well and hopefully he'll improve from that. He'll probably need to improve from that. We've no immediate plans for him we'll take it one step at a time and he'll tell us how good he is.
