That was an impressive performance by her and she got the trip very well. There is a couple of possibilities and we will see how she comes out of the race before we decide exactly where she runs next. She’ll obviously run again this year but we’ll speak with her owner Eva Maria Haefner and then decide where we go with her. The Long Distance Cup in which she was second last year is one of the possibilities. She settled beautifully today. It was a very strong pace all the way and you could call her a winner a long way out. I always thought she would get that trip but it was nice to see her do it so well.

It's been a special day winning my ninth St Leger. I had one horse win it four times, back-to-back, Vintage Crop twice, and now this mare has won it twice,. I've trained her for the day for a long time. I also wanted to get that Group 1 over a mile-and-a-quarter into her in case people thought she was only a staying mare. You saw what the filly that beat her in the Group 1 did, Magical. I was quietly confident today. It was lovely for Oisin Orr, he was only 23 the other day. I thought he switched her off beautifully and I was confident turning for home that he would win. Oisin gets horses to relax very well. To be fair to Chris Hayes he rode her brilliantly here last year and rode a beautiful race on Amma Grace for me earlier on. They all have their own talents. I don't really have a number one but Oisin is riding most of them. I think he has wonderful hands, rides a very relaxed race and fills horses with confidence. You might be worried watching him as very often he hasn't moved on horses. I love horses getting into a rhythm, gradual progress and ride them to come and that's what he does very very well. When you win the Vermeille and Irish Leger on the same day and you're training 100 horses, which is no number of horses in Ireland nowadays, you get a very big kick. The autumn was always the plan for the Tarnawa. She came back to me from Gilltown Stud in great condition. She went to Cork and won the Group 3 from Cayenne Pepper. It was a real good performance and she put up

It’s a very special win on a very special and emotional day. We’re having wonderful horse racing but I’m very proud of our industry the way we are supporting Pat Smullen and cancer research. This has been a very special race for me over the years and it’s the eighth time I’ve won it. She was running very free early on and he’d a hard call to make. I was happy he made the right call because I didn’t want to see him spend the rest of the race trying to settle her. I know how well she stays so I wasn’t too worried. There is a lot of stamina there as her brother is Falcon Eight. She was very fit and very well and often horses that run that free will relax when they get to the front.

the first thing was to get her into stalls. We’ve done a lot of work with her but she’s claustrophobic. She’s a lovely kind tempered filly and it’s just a question of building up her confidence. That was the most difficult part as the actual race I was quite confident the result would be as is. She’s a lovely filly in the making but is still very immature. She will either go for a winners of one or a Stakes race maybe the Oaks Trial at Naas. She’s a filly with a lot of potential but she needs more experience if we are to think about the Irish Oaks. She’s even claustrophobic in the stable at home. It’s all about giving her confidence but we still have work to do and we will continue to build on that. The Oaks Trial is probably a logical next step for her. It’s only a mile and a quarter and a mile and a half will be her forte. If it all comes too soon there are plenty of good races for her later in the year. She handles that ground well and is a lovely light-actioned top of the ground filly.
