That was another nice surprise in the manner he did it,. You're hoping that if he could bring his chase form to hurdles he could do something like that but you don't expect to do that around Galway. Patrick (Mullins) usually manages Simon's (Wilson, owner) horses and I'll let them decide if he runs again on Saturday but we'll see how he comes out of the race. He has a nice mark for Saturday and after today I'd imagine he won't have it again for a while, so maybe we'll take our chance and run.

It's great for Brian who had to lose an awful lot of weight to ride him (at 9st 12lbs). Michael Bowe recommended him to us, he was looking to move him on and thought he might do a job and he was right. He'll go to Galway now for a 0-109 handicap hurdle there and he's rated 109, hopefully he can run well. Maite who looks after him has done a lot of work with him and he seems happy out. I think he could win over hurdles as well.

He’s a chaser in the making, and that’s his future. He’s a typical Definite Article, loves good ground. I loved the way he jumped and the way he responded under a bit of pressure.
