he was very good and has been progressing slowly recently. He started on too high a mark over fences and then lost his form completely. The last day he was going to run a good race but two horses fell in front of him and he was impeded twice but still ran well. That was the first spark he showed and it gave him a chance today and he also had dropped down to a winneable mark. Gigginstown like to claim off horses when they have top weight so Eddie O'Leary (Racing Manager to Gigginstown) recommended I use Kevin.

Hopefully the handicapper won't be too hard on him. He disappointed last season after winning his beginners. He just wasn't right then but he stays three miles and he goes on the soft.

He ran a bit free at Tipperary last time,. He's very brave and very quick (at his fences). He's an out and out three-miler and likes to take his time to warm up.

That's the way we would have liked it to happen as we'd like to run Rivage D'Or in the Pertemps Final and he needed 4 or 5Ibs more to get in. They are two good staying horses and the other fellow (Raz De Maree) will win another one. He needs a stiffer test.
