He's after getting a new lease of life since we dropped him back in trip. He loves this track, and they went good and hard which he loves coming off that pace.

we took a gamble dropping back to six and it paid off. We knew with the likes of Geological in the race they'd go hard so it would be a good true run race and if he was able to lie up with them he would kind of be the class horse of the race. Hopefully that will give him a bit of confidence because really the handicapper has him. He has been hard on him as he's ran all year and he hasn't dropped him. We had to drop him back to six to try something else. It worked as they've gone hard and he loved that surface. He said they went hard but he came into his own at the furlong pole. We'll look at those six furlong races up the Curragh if it's not too slow.

that looked a good strong race on paper. I was happy with him coming here, and he was very buzzy the first night at Dundalk. I think he gets a mile which gives us more options. He was plagued with sore shins last year but Colin said it's beautiful, quick ground with no jar.

He bumped into a real horse (David Wachman's Independence Day) at Down Royal. He's a nice horse and has done his job,. Colin said they went flat out, and he won like a good horse.
