I was more hopeful than confident, and it's a bit of a surprise beating the favourite. A lot of hard work has gone into this horse since Cork. He had a few issues but we've sorted them out,.

He appears to be an improving horse and fair play to Bellewstown as that is lovely safe ground out there. Galway is the plan. We hadn't decided, but we'd have to think about the Galway Hurdle now.

He's a real battler and I'm delighted for the horse. He's been knocking on the door. He'll go back over hurdles at Bellewstown.

It's a family operation. I'm delighted for the horse as he's very genuine. He's been a bit unlucky and he was unlucky the last day when he made a mistake at the last two. I'm delighted for my brother Kevin. He gave it a great ride. That's only his second ride. He rode this horse in the conditionals race at the festival here. We took a bit of a chance putting him up, but he's a good little rider. We don't know where we'll go next. He handles heavy ground but is better on faster ground.

I'm delighted for his owner Kevin John Smith. His son rides out for me at home. Kevin had a share in a few horses before but this is his first winner with me. He is from Kilmessan and he is a very enthusiastic owner. That horse has been knocking on the door and Barry gave him a super ride. Barry won this race for me last year (Magnetic Force) so we are two from two in it. We might come back again for it next year!. It's not too soft out there and everything worked out well.
