It looked an ideal race to go for. Conditions suited him so it was the right race to go for,. I'd say he remembered the quick(er) ground in Leopardstown early on but the further he got the better he jumped. That could be it for the year unless Punchestown came up very soft. He'll not go to Fairyhouse.

In fairness he is threatening to win a big race a long time. Simon (McGonagle) my head man rides him out every day at home and he had full confidence in him today. He said he'd love the ground and he thought he would go close. It hasn't been easy, it has been a long road and he's done alot of swimming. He was running in a Bobbyjo Chase a couple of years ago and fell at the second last so he deserved to win that today. If it ever came up soft in Aintree he could be an English National horse.

He's a fair horse this fella and I've always liked him. I think he'll be even better on soft ground,. He's in all the novices over Christmas but I'll have to chat with Chris as he's away for Christmas. He's a good big staying horse and the further he goes the better. Something like the four-miler at Cheltenham would do me nicely. I know Willie's horse made a bad mistake but I think our fella is a nice horse.

He's 50/1 in the World Hurdle and if the ground is soft I think he is a massive price. He is an unexposed horse but the ground would want to be soft.

He's a nice horse. It was a messy race at Leopardstown where they went no gallop and it played into Zaidpour's hands. He's in the World Hurdle but it would have to be very soft for him to run. Really it's all about next year for him as he's a big three-mile chaser in the making.

"He obviously has Zaidpour to beat again but he is in good form and with a bit of luck he will sneak into the money again,"

A great jump at the last sealed it. Hopefully he'll be a good novice chaser. He's a nice horse and a big three mile chaser. He was flat out there from the third last. That's it for the year. He's a smashing horse to go over fences next year. It was a good performance as the second horse got a bit of a freebie. He'd go on any ground, but on softer ground he is more effective.
