It just worked out exactly the way I thought it would. Although it don't always work that way. I thought he would have to much pace for them and if he stayed that he would win. Obviously he stays well. I suppose all going well we will go to Listowel with him now and he will keep on the go for as long as the ground stays fast.

He surprised me with the ease with which he won,. He took a hefty knock last time at Bellewstown and this race didn't look that simple. The slow pace suited as he got confidence in what he was doing. He may go to Galway for a handicap hurdle if he comes out of this ok. You wouldn't know what the handicapper would do after that.

.He just doesn't like soft ground. This is probably his trip and things went his own way,. He's in again tomorrow over seven furlongs and I'll see how he is. I might run - there is not a lot to lose by running. I'll wait till next summer with him to go back over hurdles.
