I must admit I thought he was beaten but I thought he got a lovely ride - Ian did exactly what we asked. the horse didn't do anything wonderful and credit must got to the jockey. We asked him to drop out and not show him until three furlongs out. He didn't really make any decent ground until the last furlong.

Davy excelled on him. He's come up to me a few times to school him and was up with me on Monday to school him again. He certainly rode him with aplomb. He jumped like an experienced handicapper which he definitely is not.
