Honourable Emperor is coming along nicely and Joseph (O'Brien) thinks a mile and a quarter is ideal for him. We'll see if there's something here for him here in the next few weeks but he'd need good ground when he goes back on turf. He is a very uncomplicated horse, is very tough and has been doing all his work on his own as my other three year olds are not ready for a run yet.

An inch is as good as a mile. I like that horse and he's a bit green still. He was very green the first day and did everything wrong. I'd say a mile will suit him even better.
