More than likely he will go for the Irish or English National next. Fairyhouse would look the more obvious as its only over the road and he's four pound better off but if it was going to be a very dry April then Barry (Connell, owner) might be tempted to run in Liverpool. At this stage it looks more like Fairyhouse. No horse likes that ground. It's bottomless. He goes through it but he does nothing, and is only lobbing along in front. They all thought that Enda's horse (On The Fringe) was going to beat him in Leopardstown but when you join him he finds more. That's the way he does things, and I wouldn't mind a few more like him.

He did what I expected if he ran up to his mark. He’s a younger horse as the second is now 13 and we are only nine. He doesn’t do a whole lot in front but Katie said he was happy enough in front. My horse and First Lientenant were second and third behind Don Poli in the Lexus and that was only 13 months ago. Leopardstown next month is the obvious next place for him. He’s not qualified to run at Cheltenham so he might run in the Tetratema (at Gowran) after that, and he’ll have an entry in the English National and the Irish National. If he’s after winning a few hunter chases he would go there in good form.

He jumped well. He was very safe but he's not as quick through the air as the others. He had loads in the tank at the business end, he has plenty of ability. He's given us some great days and he's a highly-rated chaser. We were looking for a big run today and I think he delivered.

If he ran as well as in the Paddy Power I thought he was able and he was probably a better horse than in the Paddy Power. He quickened up well after the last and ran to the line. He jumped a bit high early on. He's only seven and will improve. I just think it's an absolute disgrace that the program committee put this race and the Thyestes on in the space of a week. The Leopardstown Chase should be on in February as no horse that is going to run in this is going to run in the Hennessy. We used to have the Paddy Power at Christmas, the Thyestes in January, the Leopardstown Chase in February and then the Irish National in late March. Those were the traditional dates. Anyway I'm delighted I won it! He'll get another eight or nine pounds. He's finished in handicaps and if he's fresh and well he might run in the Hennessy or maybe the Bobbyjo, those type of races.

he did what I thought he might do and always seems to pull out a little bit. He was slower over the last than the other two (runner-up My Murphy and third placed Clar Na Mionn) but he finds a bit when you give him a dig and he won well at the line. Danny rides a bit more like Flat-style than jumping lads who like to put a race to bed and win by two or three lengths but he said he had a bit left. He's a grand horse and is going the right direction and if he stays sound and healthy, there'll be more nice pots to win with him. We'll see how he is in three weeks and that'll be time enough to make up our minds about running at Cheltenham but it's where Barry (Connell) would like to go. As he improves over the summer, he could be a nice three miler next year and he's already come a long way since winning a point-to-point last October.

He'll make a grand old three mile chaser. I wouldn't imagine he will run again as he wants slow ground and a slow track. He stays and he jumps and he gallops away. The tight track at Punchestown didn't suit him but in saying that the horse who beat him there (Kashline) ran a cracker in the handicap earlier (finished fourth behind Dressedtothenines).
