After race at Downpatrick Sun, 26th Mar, 2017 (1st)  It looks like he wants the two and a half (miles). He hit a flat spot across the top and made an awful mistake. Sean said he was lucky to stand up. I don't know what mark he will get after that. We'll look at something maybe for him in Punchestown with nice ground. He wants the two and a half all day there and ridden patiently. An improving horse that I haven't over run because of the ground. We'll probably go two and a half Punchestown somewhere. I'm very pleased. He was entitled not to win it there and he still won it. He got just done for toe in the last furlong of the two-mile race, the flat horses did him in Leopardstown from the last hurdle. He didn't stop, he has great cruising speed but no change of gear. Today was kind of a dip in toe to see about going up in trip so we will. Liz Doyle

After race at Down Royal Mon, 2nd May, 2016 (1st)  I was worried about the penalty but for that I thought we would have a fair squeak. He does jump well. He got a beautiful ride. Sean just hung on to him, it's a long old way up that straight. He's a lovely horse to get. The owner thought he would enjoy hurdles so that's how I got him. He'll go the novice route for the summer. After race at Naas Wed, 25th Jun, 2014 (1st)  He's a big galloper. He was hard to get fit during the year. He's 440 kilos and I'm after being quite hard on him the last couple of weeks. We did always like him but it's taken a while for the penny to drop. Hopefully he progresses and Ross said he loved that ground. Ross came to me this year and is a great lad and a great worker. He deserved his chance and he gave him a very good ride. He nicked a couple of lengths and lasted home. J P Murtagh
