We were happy with that. I suppose he just out-stayed them there. We'll have a look at the Thyestes Chase in Gowran Park now, i'll see if we can find something else but i'd say we'll go for the Thyestes.

He looks a lovely prospect. He is a little bit hyper but he is a great jumper. I've viewed him as an Arkle Chase horse and he done nothing out there to change my view. Because of all the wind, he wore ear-plugs today, to help him relax. He's unlikely to run again before the Grade 1 novice at Leopardstown on St. Stephen's Day.

He jumped fantastic and he obviously stays that trip and plenty more. That opens up a good few more options over fences, though he'll probably get too much of a penalty for the Paddy Power. Padraig O'Rourke, husband of the winning owner, Margaret, is a director at Gowran, so we might take a look at the Thyestes. The Welsh National would be a possibility too. He has a bit to go to be a Graded horse but I think he could make it. It is grand to get the Troytown on to my C.V., it is a good race to win.

That was great. It was a nice opportunity for him. That was his maiden win over hurdles. I hope he doesn't get too much off the handicapper for that. He'll either go for a winners race or another handicap. He looks well enough handicapped. He has an entry in the Hennessy in Newbury and I wouldn't be worried about the trip at all there.
