Permission was given for Puffable (GB) to go early wearing a red hood to the start.
The Starter reported that Street Parade (GB) was reluctant to load.
Michael Attwater was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the cut away involving Puffable (GB), unplaced, ridden by Tommie Jakes and the winner, Batchelor Boy (IRE), ridden by Darragh Keenan.
Being a 7lb claimer, Jakes was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Keenan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Puffable (GB) causing Jakes to take a check when tightened for room against the rail.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately ½ furlong out involving ATTY’S EDGE, placed fifth, ridden by William Cox and Street Parade (GB), placed, third, ridden by William Carson.
The interference was found to be accidental as Street Parade (GB) shifted quickly left-handed at the same time as ATTY’S EDGE stepped right-handed resulting in Cox’s taking a precautionary check.
Entering the first bend a free running Puffable (GB), unplaced, made contact with the running rail at the point of the bend causing the filly to become briefly unbalanced.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
The performance of Cuban Grey (GB) which finished last of seven runners beaten 8 ½ lengths, was considered.
The explanation given by the representative of Michael Murphy and Keady that the gelding made a respiratory noise.
