Shortly after jumping the last hurdle, the winner Top Cloud (GB), shifted quickly left-handed giving a bump to Sir Rock (IRE), placed third, causing that runner to become unbalanced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, and that it had not improved the placing of Top Cloud (GB).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Dynamic Kate (IRE), placed fourth, was struck into on its right fore.
