5.25pm Champion Chase - Dinoblue
With likely favourite El Fabiolo almost certain to be rerouted to Sandown as Willie Mullins attempts to win the British Trainers Championship, it could pay to side with another of his entries here, Dinoblue. This shorter trip should play to her strengths and her mares’ allowance gives her strong claims.

4.15pm Novice Hurdle - Stellar Story
Stellar Story caused a shock when winning at the Cheltenham Festival, but the form has since been franked by the placed horses, The Jukebox man and Dancing City, at Aintree and there is a strong chance that Stellar Story can build on that success here.
Punchestown Day 3 Tip
5.25pm Novice Chase - Gaelic Warrior
Gaelic Warrior produced a scintillating display to win the Arkle Chase at Cheltenham from Found A Fifty and Il Etait Temps who both franked the form with victories at Aintree. Going right-handed back at Punchestown is an added bonus for supporters of Gaelic Warrior as he is unbeaten at this venue.

6.00pm Champion Hurdle - State Man
State Man arrives having won the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham and can maintain his impeccable record around Punchestown where he is unbeaten in four previous visits to the track, including when scoring in this race last year.

4.50pm Champion 4-Y-O Hurdle - Bottler'secret
Gavin Cromwell has been bringing Bottler'secret along steadily and the ex-Flat recruit deserves a try at Grade One level following another authoritative display at Fairyhouse at the beginning of the month.

Wednesday - 5.25pm Gold Cup - Fastorslow
Fastorslow shocked plenty when landing this race last season but it would be no surprise to see him put in a similar performance this year. Galopin Des Champs has had a spectacular campaign, but it seemed to take a toll at this time last year and now meets an old rival who will be fresh after unseating at Cheltenham. Martin Brasill's stable star relishes this track and could upset the Gold Cup winner again.
Wednesday - 4.15pm Novice Hurdle - Betterdaysahead
Betterdaysahead was a gritty winner of the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham and this extended trip should play to his strengths. Stepping up to Grade 1 company will be a tougher test again, however that particular Cheltenham contest has a proven record of producing Graded performers. Galopin Des Champs, Champagne Classic and Killultagh Vic are all recent Martin Pipe winners who went on to land this contest.
