Cill Mocheallog Dundalk wasn’t an ideal surface for him but I felt it was a good race to start him in at that stage of the year. We were drawn 18 but I felt if he broke well that he’d have a chance. He’s a nice horse and has been working well since he ran in Dundalk and hopefully he can continue his progression. Phoenix Of Spain is a nice stallion and has had plenty of good winners and a third in the Guineas the other day. We’ll see how he gets rated and decide whether to go for a handicap or a winners race.

Air Force One he joined us last year and he's gotten stronger since he came. He's been showing a bit of pace and it looked like a nice place to start. We had planned on starting him in this race when it was originally due to be run in Tipperary but weather dictated that we came here. We were waiting for this to be changed to somewhere else. I think he's a five-furlong sprinter. He was tough there and we'll see what the handicapper does. Hopefully we'll have a bit of fun with him for the summer.

Sea The Polaris He’s probably more comfortable at that seven or a mile. I thought being a Sea The Stars that we should step him up in trip and it looks like that was the wrong thing to do. His mother was quite quick and was a Stakes winning Siyouni filly over five and a half and it looks like he has that sort of pace. I’d say he’s adaptable enough ground wise as it was heavy in Galway (on debut last year) and he ran on the all-weather the last day. He has a rating, and we’ll see what the handicapper does.
