FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - It’s easy to pick out some of the more interesting ones amongst the eleven newcomers, but ultimately the best guide to these will be gleaned from market movements. A tentative pick is for JUDICIAL LAW, after his Limerick debut fourth placing. Derek O’Connor takes the reins, and the Galway man could hardly be riding any better at the minute. Poor old Youcannotbeserious, his partner in the Ladies Cup at Punchestown, suffered a fatal fall. O’Connor wasn’t long about bouncing back though, with a Grade One win on Kilcruit. He was fabulous from the front on Sliabh Mhuire Lass at Tipperary on Thursday evening and his journey to Killarney may be made worthwhile by Judicial Law. A good filly, Belle Metal, won at Limerick, when Judicial Law shaped encouragingly for the future. By Fame And Glory out of an Overbury mare, one would imagine that the selection will relish the livelier surface. The better ground and blinkers will need to do plenty for the disappointing to date, Regal Statesman.
