FormscanBy Eamonn Murphy - A beaten favourite over fences at Kilbeggan last time, FAIRYHILL RUN could make the most of a feather-weight impost. The Mahler mare had been successful over the larger obstacles at Limerick prior to that, and she was a decent enough fourth the last time she ran in a handicap hurdle – at Ballinrobe on April 16th. Many of these look capable of making an impression, including Willie Mullins’ pair, Mr Coldstone and Good Man Jim. Charles Byrnes on to William O’Doherty, on to Robbie Burns on to Cathal Byrnes – it’s not easy to keep pace with the training arrangements at Ballynoe, Ballingarry, County Limerick. The Viking Hoard Tramore affair besmirched the good name of Irish racing but punters will have to keep the stable’s Run For Oscar in mind for this.
