Zaralabad experiences a change of luck
Charlie Swan’s Zaralabad overcame some previous bad luck to take the concluding Beamish Stout Race at Bellewstown today, winning under Conor O’Farrell.
Zaralabad, under a cool ride, was held up in rear before making steady headway in the straight, eventually getting to the front a furlong out, eventually holding the challenge of Greenbelt Star by a neck.
Swan was not present but connections of the gelding were experiencing some better fortune with the son of Fantastic Light, which had failed to get a clear passage in each of his last two starts.
