Robert Tyner was certainly happy Limerick got the go ahead following an early morning inspection as the Kinsale trainer saddled a 72/1 treble completed by Womalko in the concluding Party Time Handicap Hurdle.

The JP McManus-owned gelding, runner-up at Cork earlier this month, was sent off the 5/4 favourite in a 2m3f event that was reduced to just 12 runners with nine absentees.

Mark Walsh, who was recording a double having been earlier on the mark aboard the Tyner-trained Split The Bucket sent the hot favourite to the front two out and he soon put the race to bed.

The five-year-old appeared to have quite a bit in hand when coming home four lengths clear of topweight Ballyadam Destiny with Happy Dreams a further two-and-a-quarter lengths back in third.

Tyner, who had three winners and a third from just four runners on the card, said “He did it nicely but it was a weak kind of race and he was entitled to do it.

“The horses are in good form and it was nice to get the three on one day.

“I think I had a treble in Clonmel before and I’ve had three winners seven times in point-to-points.”

The Jack Foley-ridden Big Debates initiated the Tyner treble in the two-mile rated novice hurdle.
