Billy Lee, earlier a winner aboard Ken Condon's Harold Peto in the fourth, doubled his tally on Lettre De Cachet for owner Lady O'Reilly and trainer Andy Oliver in the concluding Bet Online At thetote.com Maiden at Navan.
There were quite a few touted for this mile five contest but with the big field of eighteen they not surprisingly bet four to one the field.
The one that headed the market, Thunder Zone looked good off the front end approaching the business end but the eye was soon drawn to the sweet travelling Lettre De Cachet, making her move.
A second winner on the day for the sire Authorized, following on from Princess Glamour earlier, Lettre De Cachet eventually held the fast finishing Very Intense by half a length.
The aforementioned Thunder Zone could only keep going at the same pace and eventually filled the third spot, two and three quarter lengths back.
"It's great to get the job done. We've always liked her. She's very big and we took our time. In fairness to Lady O'Reilly and James Kelly they have been patient and allowed us to do that," said Oliver.
"She's improved from each run. Billy gave her a great ride. She's learning with racing and was much more settled today. Like all the Authorizeds she handles a bit of cut.
"She's in the sales and I'll speak to connections and see what they want to do. She might be a filly to hold on to as I'd expect her to improve and progress."
