Tripolovitch impressive at Kilbeggan
The Shureen Flat Race saw an impressive winner in the Conor O’Dwyer trained Tripolovitch after he came home in front by 15 lengths in the hands of Barry Connell.
Winning trainer O’Dwyer said afterwards: “The extra trip really suited him these kind of bumpers are hard to come by. He ran a cracker the last day after being off for a year.”
“He deserved to win today. He’s only a five year old he’s been 3rd three times and has now won. He should make a lovely staying hurdler in time.”
“I’ll have to discuss with Barry where we go next either we go for a winner’s bumper or go hurdling. Hopefully we’ll win a few more with him.”
