Trendelenburg wins again
The Gordon Elliott trained Trendelenburg justified 4/1 favouritism when winning the 26 runner Oldcastle Handicap Hurdle at Navan today, winning by a head under Paul Carberry.
Carberry needed to be at his strongest on the son of Definite Article, which just about held the challenge of Accordion To Paddy
Afterwards Elliott stated “Trendelenburg is owned by the Barstool Prophets Syndicate which is made up of my father Pat and a few local friends from Summerhill. We’ll aim him at a handicap hurdle at Perth in four or five weeks time next.”
The win was Trendelenburg's third racecourse win in his last four starts.
