Treble up for Disc
Sun Disc completed a treble when running out a game winner of the Derek O'Sullivan Memorial Apprentice Handicap at the Curragh.
Dessie Hughes' charge had been successful on two visits to the north recently, winning over hurdles in August and on the level earlier this month at Down Royal.
She was defying a 9lb rise for her win on the Flat last time.
Mark Enright produced his charge on the rail to take it up with two furlongs to run. Boulay who had sat second throughout, challenged at the same time and pressed the winner hard in the closing stages, going down by half a length at the line.
Hughes, who had a couple of runners down in Clonmel, was not on hand to welcome back in his winner.
