Hail Shower landed a touch in the Feale 3yo Handicap, running out an easy winner under Wayne Lordan for Willie McCreery.
The daughter of Red Clubs opened at 9/1 with Paddy Power overnight, but was available at just 6/1 this morning.
She opened on track at 5s before going off the 9/2 favourite.
She disputed the lead with Longfield Lad for much of the contest, going on inside the two furlong pole, soon stretching clear to record an comfortable six length success. Better Value finished second under Seamie Heffernan for John Hassett at 9/1, while Blistering Dancer was a head back in third under Danny Grant for Pat Flynn at 7/1.
Willie McCreery, who was recording his fourth winner since last Monday, said afterwards: "She jumped out and did that last week (finished sixth over a mile at Galway last week) but she just didn’t get home so I told Wayne to try and do the same today.
"I think she is a filly that you need to make up her mind for her.
"She is in the Goffs Horses In Training Sale next month and she’ll come back here again on Friday. She is a hardy filly.
"The lads who own her (the Real Shower Partnership) are from Sallins and I’d say they will enjoy themselves down here."
