Top pounces late to spring shock
View From The Top sprang a 25/1 shock when claiming the first division of the mile-and-a-half handicap at Dundalk.
Padraig Beggy was completing a double when getting a strong run from his mount inside the final furlong.
The Pat Martin-trained gelding got up close home to nab Imperial Belle for a neck success.
"We gave him a bit of a chance the last day but he disappointed. He has a bit of ability and has won here before," said stable representative Bernard Caldwell.
Beggy had earlier been successful on Desert Al in the apprentice handicap.
