There was a reversal in form from a fortnight back when The Dancing Lord got the better of Togoville in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Of Dundalk Rated Race.
However the success wasn't achieved without consequence as winning handler John Geoghegan explained: "He's after bursting there which is a worry. He's bleeding from both nostrils. It's the first time it happened."
Togoville had looked sure to win again when setting sail for home but The Dancing Lord is in seriously good order at present (form figures 2421121) and he got up to touch off his opponent by a head.
"He's been great here. We'll give him a break now.
"He's as tough as nails. It looked like he was inclined to hang in there but Robbie (Downey) gave him a good ride.
"Hopefully we'll get him back here again in the new year," said Geoghegan. (AM & EM)
